Become a Fellow
The new Australian College of Educators Fellowship Awards program (FACE)
Receiving the FACE national award signifies the ACE Member is acknowledged by their peers and the College as a highly valued and exemplary educator who has made an outstanding contribution to the profession.
ACE invites educators who have achieved outstanding outcomes in their professional practice and are making significant contributions to the profession to apply for the prestigious ACE Fellowship Award.
You will be from the early childhood sector, primary and secondary schools, TAFE/VET and higher education sectors (public or private) or an education researcher, manager, trainer or provider of professional education services with a minimum of five years full time equivalent professional employment experience.
This year the College has introduced a new online application process; applications will be prepared and submitted by you, the educator, not by an organisation or committee.
Applications are open until 30 June 2016. The assessment of applications will be in July and applicants will be notified in August.
Apply for Fellowship in 2016
Your Fellowship application will be evaluated by a national panel of expert educators who bring a wide range of knowledge and experience in considering how your application addresses the criteria. The National Board will confer the FACE award.
Your local ACE State Committee members may offer assistance in developing your application, or by becoming one of your referees.
Prior to applying, please read the FACE Application guidelines and information page that covers eligibility, how to apply, the information required, assessment criteria, notification process and the key dates.
If you are an ACE Member, or not a member and thinking of applying for Fellowship, consider how the Benefits and significance may be relevant to you, and read about what becoming a FACE has meant professionally to our highly regarded Fellows.
