Former Australian rugby union player James Holbeck is scheduled to speak at two upcoming ACE NSW events in Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie, in celebration of World Teachers’ Day.
James has had a fascinatingly varied career since retiring from rugby union. He is currently studying a Masters in Family Studies, majoring in Fatherhood, after realising the potential effects of early childhood experiences while working as a Kids Helpline telephone counsellor. He also recently worked as an ambassador for Youth InSearch, an organisation for at-risk kids.
His presentation, focusing on ‘foundations of healthy environments where people are able to thrive’, promises to be insightful and thought-provoking.
