The Profession

With membership across all sectors, systems and subjects, the Australian College of Educators delivers profession driven services and support for all educators.

The teaching profession spans across many sectors starting with early childhood educators. The ACE has linkages with a range of early childhood specific organisations as well as offering support, services and linkages for educators working in this area.

The Australian College of Educators delivers information, networking and professional learning opportunities beyond the school environment. Primary School Professionals can access research, publications and professional learning that will have a direct impact upon their classroom practice.

Those working in the secondary environment have the opportunity to connect with the College and subject specific associations through our growing network of partnerships and affiliations. College membership offers teaching professionals in the secondary sector to broaden networks across systems including government, catholic and independent. 

The College has a long and proud history of support and membership from leading academics, policy makers and education leaders. Members of the College from Higher Education gain access to a range of publications, research, networking and affiliations across the entire teaching profession.

Educators working in the Vocational Education and Training area have the opportunity to create strong cross sectoral networks and professional affiliations. The College enables linkages between VET, Higher Education, Schools and Research to name a few.

Commencing your career as an education professional can be rewarding but challenging. The ACE provides a range of early career entrant specific services and support that will help you develop and refine your skills and expertise.

With access to some of the world’s leading education researchers, policy makers and thinkers, the ACE delivers a range of professional learning, development and networking opportunities to assist current leaders and aspiring leaders in achieving their career ambitions.

Unlike other associations, the ACE enables cross sector networking and professional learning hubs with leading academics, national and global education specialists and peers across ALL sectors, ALL systems and ALL subjects.

ACE Fellowship Nominations

Fellowship of the College is an esteemed status granted by ACE to recognise the achievements of highly accomplished and exemplary educators who make an outstanding contribution to the education profession.

ACE Members may be nominated for Fellowship by current members, ACE State and Territory Branch Committees. 

Once assessed, nominees considered worthy of being granted a Fellowship are recommended to the ACE National National Board for approval.
