Testimonies

“It has been an amazing 3 weeks. My goals and expectations have been superseded. As one of the few non-history teachers here, I am so grateful for the diversity of material given both historically but also applicable to English and Religious Studies. I feel so privileged to have met so many amazing educators, Yad Vashem staff, lecturers and Israelis! I feel like this is a place that I will visit again and certainly encourage other teachers to apply for this program. This was an experience of a lifetime – from the bottom of my heart, Thank you! I will carry this with me forever.”

Sarah Porchak, Queensland

“Overall this experience is the most powerful professional learning I’ve engaged in. The sequence of speakers, caliber of lectures, and organization was OUTSTANDING. Congratulations and thank you.”

Lynette Burt, Tasmania

“Words do not do my experience justice. The quality of the learning in this course, from the experts scheduled, has been a seminal experience in my life. I have learnt so much. I have so many sources to follow up. I will not let Yad Vashem down. I promise to deliver the teachings to my students and continue to talk to whoever will listen (and also to those who won’t). Have I said today how much I loved this?”

Kerryn Langman, Queensland
