Event Details

ACE WA invites you to the first Hot Topic of 2018.

Student Engagement: What do the students say and how can schools respond?

Colin Pettit, Commissioner for Children and Young People, will present the findings and recommendations from recently completed research into student engagement – ‘Speaking out about school and learning: The views of WA children and young people on factors that support their engagement in school and learning’.

The report, released in January 2018, contains the views of 1,812 WA students who participated in the consultation process. The outcomes of the research are of significance to teachers, student teachers, parents and school administrators.

There will be opportunities for networking at this event. Refreshments will also be provided.
