Q&A Wellbeing Forum

Thursday 9th August 2018

Event Details

Wellbeing is a very topical issue currently in educational contexts as concerns grow over stress levels and mental health issues for students, teachers, and principals. ACE and ACEL (Australian Council for Educational Leaders) Darling Downs are hosting a Question and Answer Forum to discuss what can be enacted to make a meaningful difference to the wellbeing of our students and educators.

A team of five experienced educators from varied sectors (University, State, Catholic and Independent) will discuss and invite community input into three specific questions:

  1. What is the current landscape of wellbeing in our schools for principals, teachers, other staff and students?
  2. What wellbeing programs are evidenced in our schools and do they work?
  3. What policy underpins our focus on wellbeing and is this enough to govern change in the wellbeing arena?

Ticket costs includes refreshments. ACEL members, please register by contacting ACE National Office to receive the discounted ticket price.
