This presentation will provide an overview of classroom differentiation, with an additional focus on practical differentiation strategies and models which teachers can use in their classroom.

Specific focus:

  • What differentiation is – and isn’t
  • The role of the teacher in a differentiated classroom
  • Managing a differentiated classroom
  • Tips, strategies and models to assist in differentiation

Guest Speaker

Esteé Stephenson

Esteé is the Leader of Learning: Gifted Education at St Andrew’s Cathedral School, Town Hall, Sydney. After completing a Masters in Education (Special Education) at the University of Wollongong, Ms Stephenson worked at Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) before moving to St Andrew’s in 2015.

She is currently studying towards a Masters in Gifted Education at the University of New South Wales.
